The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) in the Philippines, created under RA 10121, mandates implementing local disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) plans, focusing on prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery, by conducting risk assessments, managing early warning systems, coordinating training, and building community resilience to hazards and climate change impacts, serving as the executive arm of the Municipal DRRM Council (MDRRMC).
